Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. unsalted butter
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pkg. instant pudding mix
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 pt. heavy cream

Method

  • Combine butter and water; cook until it comes to a rolling boil.
  • Add cup of flour; keep stirring until it forms a rolling ball.
  • Remove from heat; stir in the eggs.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Heat oven to 400°.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet, about 1 inch apart.
  • Use about 1 tablespoon of mixture for each cream puff.
  • Yields 12 to 14 cream puffs.
