- 1 1/2 qt. water
- 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. Accent
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 c. shredded American cheese
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 c. light cream
- 5 chicken bouillon cubes
Method
- In a 3-quart pan, bring water to a boil; add broccoli and onion. Boil 10 to 12 minutes. Add seasoning and cheese.
- Stir until cheese melts.
- Add milk, cream and butter.
- Heat to boiling. Add 1/2 cup cold water to flour, stirring until smooth. Slowly add to mixture, stirring rapidly. Cook and stir until thick.
- Add bouillon cubes.
