Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. (8 count) crescent rolls
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. boiling water

Method

  • Separate and spread 1 package of rolls in bottom of 12 x 14-inch pan.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg yolk until fluffy.
  • Spread on rolls.
  • Separate remaining rolls and carefully place on top of cream cheese mixture.
  • Brush top with slightly beaten egg white.
  • Bake at 375° until golden.
  • Glaze with combined powdered sugar and boiling water.
  • Drizzle over top.
  • Cool and cut into strips.
