Ingredients
- 2 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. oats
- 1 pkg. chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Blend together shortening, sugars and eggs until fluffy.
- Add flour, baking powder and soda.
- Add oats and chocolate chips.
- Stir until thoroughly blended.
- Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes for crisp cookies.
- Cook less for soft chewier cookies.
- Cool some before removing from cookie sheet.
