Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 loaf French or Italian bread
- 4 c. whole milk
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. raisins
Method
- Heat oven to 325°.
- Pour melted butter into approximately an 8-cup baking pan and refrigerate.
- Place the bread sliced into a large bowl and pour the milk over them, tossing to let the bread absorb most of the milk.
- Tear sliced bread into pieces.
