Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. dried minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn (undrained)
  • 2/3 c. pancake mix or biscuit mix
  • 1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1 egg

Method

  • Melt margarine and combine with other ingredients, except cheese. Mix well. Pour into an 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until the middle is set and the top is brown if using cheese. Sprinkle it on top and return to oven until cheese is melted.
