Ingredients
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder (or 1 1/3 c. self-rising flour)
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 (15 oz.) can corn, drained
Method
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Blend milk and egg.
- Stir in corn and drop from a tablespoon into deep hot fat. Fry until brown, approximately 4 to 8 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels.
