Ingredients
- 1/4 lb. salt pork-bacon
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 c. diced boiled potatoes
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. cooked corn (canned or fresh)
- 4 c. hot milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- dash of parsley
Method
- Cut pork into small pieces.
- Cook until some fat is in pan. Add onions.
- Cook until tender.
- Add potatoes, boiling water, corn and hot milk.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat until boiling. Serve garnished with parsley.
- Serves 6 to 8.
