Ingredients
- 4 medium size squash
- 1 1/2 c. corn bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- dash of paprika
Method
- Wash squash well; cover with cold water.
- Bring to boil and boil rapidly for 20 minutes, or until squash is tender.
- Mix all other ingredients.
- Cut squash in the center the long way.
- Scoop out seeds and pulp; add to bread crumb mixture.
- Salt and pepper squash shells lightly.
- Stuff with bread crumb stuffing; place on greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 400° for 15 minutes, or until brown.
