- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 19 ounces tomatoes, canned
- 14 ounces tomato sauce
- 32 ounces water
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon steak sauce HP
- 1 teaspoon steak sauce A1
- 2 teaspoons red hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon mint leaves dried
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 18 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 6 bitters
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
Method
- Brown the ground beef in 2 tbsps olive oil.
- Add all the other ingredients, except the bread crumbs, and simmer for 3 hrs.
- Also, put can of tomatoes thru a food mill to remove seeds before adding to sauce.
- Finally add enough bread crumbs to thicken to the proper consistancy or however you like it.
