Ingredients

  • 1 savoy cabbage large, shredded
  • 2 stalks celery thinly sliced
  • 4 green onion large, thinly sliced
  • 1 large carrot shredded
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 ounces rice wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 pinch red pepper

Method

  • Combine sesame oil, vinegar, garlic, ginger, honey and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  • In a large salad bowl toss cabbage, celery, carrot and onion with dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Allow salad to sit for 15 - 30 minutes to combine flavors.
