Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 pound collard greens, trimmed, washed and thinly chopped
- Dash sugar
- Salt
Method
- Render bacon until crispy.
- Remove and set aside.
- To rapidly boiling water add collard greens, sugar and salt.
- Cook until tender.
- Drain and toss with bacon
