Ingredients

  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1 medium Spanish onion
  • 1 c. cherry tomatoes
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil

Method

  • Rinse cabbage, remove dark tough outer leaves.
  • Cut cabbage in 1/2 and then into quarters.
  • Remove core.
  • Shred cabbage finely with knife or food processor.
  • Core a green pepper.
  • Remove seeds and ribs.
  • Cut pepper into thin rings.
  • Slice onion and separate into thin rings.
  • Cut cherry tomatoes in half.
  • Cover and chill until ready to serve.
