Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp. mayonnaise (heaping)
  • 2 Tbsp. yellow mustard (heaping)
  • 2 tsp. Louisiana hot sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. picante sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Lea & Perrins sauce
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • juice of 1 medium size lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. honey or sugar
  • 1 onion (medium)
  • 1 tsp. salt (to taste)
  • 4 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 large cabbage, shredded

Method

  • In a blender, blend the first 12 ingredients well.
  • Place the cabbage and peppers in a large salad bowl.
  • Pour sauce over and toss well. This should be done about 1 hour before serving. Tastes even better the next day.
