- 5 Tbsp. mayonnaise (heaping)
- 2 Tbsp. yellow mustard (heaping)
- 2 tsp. Louisiana hot sauce
- 4 Tbsp. picante sauce
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Lea & Perrins sauce
- 1 large garlic clove
- juice of 1 medium size lemon
- 1 Tbsp. honey or sugar
- 1 onion (medium)
- 1 tsp. salt (to taste)
- 4 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 large cabbage, shredded
Method
- In a blender, blend the first 12 ingredients well.
- Place the cabbage and peppers in a large salad bowl.
- Pour sauce over and toss well. This should be done about 1 hour before serving. Tastes even better the next day.
