Ingredients

  • 2 env. unflavoured gelatine
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 3 Tbsp. Maxwell House Instant Coffee Original Roast
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Method

  • In small bowl, sprinkle gelatine over water and let soak 10 min., do not stir.
  • Meanwhile, in medium saucepan heat milk, half-and-half, coffee, vanilla and sugar to a simmer over medium heat; stir occasionally to dissolve sugar.
  • When mixture simmers, immediately turn off heat; add gelatine mixture, stirring to dissolve gelatine.
  • Pour mixture into 8 small dessert glasses or small jars.
  • Refrigerate uncovered 2 hours.
