Ingredients
- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 sticks margarine
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 8 eggs
- 2 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. butternut flavoring
- 1 can coconut (Angel Flake)
Method
- Cream Crisco, margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and cream of tartar together.
- Add to cake with flavorings.
- Fold in coconut with a spoon.
- Cook in cold oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
