Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. cranberries
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Method

  • Sift flour with sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Stir in cranberries and chopped walnuts.
  • Combine egg, orange juice and oil.
  • Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
  • Bake in greased loaf pan at 350° for 50 minutes or until done.
  • Bread is done when a cake tester comes out clean.
