Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburg
  • 1 lb. sausage meat
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 loaf bread (Pepperidge Farm or Arnold)

Method

  • Cook hamburg and sausage; drain off grease.
  • Add cheese and seasonings; mix well.
  • Spread on bread, after cutting off crusts. Prefreeze on cookie sheets for 5 minutes.
  • Freeze in individual packages.
  • When ready to use, cut in 4 pieces.
  • While frozen, broil about 3 minutes, or until lightly browned.
