Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces Italian sausage, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) bottle clam juice
  • 1 (10 ounce) can baby clams
  • garlic-flavored croutons

Method

  • In a large sauce pan with oil, saute garlic, sausage and mushrooms.
  • Stir in tomatoes, clam juice, and clams.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Spoon into bowls; top with garlic croutons if desired.
