Ingredients
- 2 loaves frozen bread, thawed
- 1 c. packed dark brown sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 large box regular vanilla pudding
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. raisins (optional)
Method
- Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Layer nuts and raisins on bottom. Break 1 thawed loaf into pieces evenly over raisins and nuts. Melt margarine, sugar, milk and pudding in pan.
- Pour over bread. Sprinkle on cinnamon.
- Break second loaf and fill in all spaces covering nuts and raisins.
- Cover with towel and let raise 2 to 3 hours.
- Bake at 325° for 1/2 to 3/4 hour.
- Invert immediately to cool.
- (Put waxed paper under rack to catch syrup.)
