- 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 c. beef broth
- 1 medium onion
- 3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- garlic powder to taste
Method
- Marinade meat with first 3 ingredients in shallow dish for 8 hours.
- Remove meat and mix marinade with all other ingredients. Pour over roast.
- Bake at 350° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until tender.
