Ingredients

  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1 (14 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 pt. marshmallow cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Cook sugar, milk and margarine to soft ball stage (236°), stirring often.
  • Remove from heat, add chocolate chips, marshmallows, vanilla and nuts.
  • Beat until chocolate is melted. Pour into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  • Score, cool and cut in squares.
  • Makes 5 1/2 dozen pieces.
