Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 lb. pineapple (4 slices)
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 1/2 lb. (qt.) chopped pecans
  • 1/2 lb. dates

Method

  • Chop all fruit and nuts. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Sift all flour, salt, cinnamon and soda together. Add flour and vanilla.
  • Gradually stir in all fruit and nuts. Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes at 300°.
