Ingredients
- 6 rib chops (veal or pork)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/4 c. milk
Method
- Rub chops with salt and pepper, brown in skillet with butter. Remove chops and brown onions.
- Place potatoes in 2-quart baking dish (greased).
- Arrange chops on top.
- Add soup and milk to onions in skillet.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour mixture over chops. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Uncover.
- Continue baking for 30 to 40 minutes until potatoes are done.
- Serves 6.
