Ingredients

  • 3 (4 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. your favorite fruit preserves
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans or almonds)

Method

  • Unroll crescent rolls and seal perforations to form 2 rectangles.
  • Pat each into an 8 x 4-inch rectangle.
  • Spread cream cheese on each and top with preserves and nuts.
  • Cut each rectangle into four 8 x 1-inch strips.
  • (You will have a total of 24 strips.)
  • Fold each strip in half and twist; they will be 1 x 4-inches.
  • Place on a lightly greased foil-lined baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool and store in airtight container.
