Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 14 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 14 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Method

  • Heat oven to 450F Line a 9-inch tart pan (with removable bottom) with pastry.
  • Bake at 450F for 9-11 minutes, or until light brown.
  • Cool.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 350F.
  • In medium bowl, beat brown sugar and eggs until fluffy.
  • Add remaining filling ingredients; mix well.
  • Pour into cooled, baked crust.
  • Bake at 350F for 35-45 minutes or until filling is set.
  • Drizzle melted chocolate over top.
  • Store in refrigerator.
