Ingredients

  • 1 sheet ready-made frozen puff pastry
  • 1 (8 ounce) package semisweet chocolate
  • 12 cup chopped walnuts or 12 cup pecans
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • confectioners' sugar
  • chocolate shavings

Method

  • Thaw pastry 20 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • On a floured board, roll pastry sheet to 14 inch square.
  • In center of square, place chocolate, nuts and butter.
  • Pull pastry edges together, twist and turn.
  • Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake 20 minutes.
  • Let stand at least 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and shaved chocolate.
