Ingredients
- 1 2/3 c. flour
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix first 5 ingredients (dry) in bowl with fork; stir in rest.
- Pour into ungreased 8 x 8-inch pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
- Cake can be mixed in pan.
- Recipe can be doubled and made in 13 x 9-inch pan, but should be mixed with mixer.
