Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 (4 oz.) bar sweet cooking chocolate, broken in pieces or chocolate morsels
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 to 4 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced or slivered almonds

Method

  • Separate dough into
  • triangles.
  • Press each to enlarge slightly.
  • Spread butter on each triangle. Place equal amount of chocolate on shortest
  • side
  • of
  • each
  • triangle.
  • Roll
  • up, starting at shortest side. Place
  • rolls
  • point
  • side
  • down on ungreased baking sheet; curve into crescent shape. Brush each roll with beaten egg;
  • sprinkle each with almonds. Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let
  • them cool for a while. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
  • Bake in 375° oven.
