Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. butter and 1 stick oleo
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa (heaping)
- 1 c. milk
Method
- Cream butter and oleo.
- Add sugar and beat well.
- In another bowl, beat eggs and add milk to eggs.
- Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with eggs and milk to butter and sugar.
- Bake in a 300° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
- Be sure to use a large tube pan that has been greased and floured.
