Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 stick butter
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Mix sugar, cocoa, flour (do not sift) and salt together in pan.
- Add well beaten egg yolks with milk.
- Stir in dry ingredients and mix well.
- Cook over medium heat until thick.
- Add vanilla and butter and pour into precooked pie shell.
- Top with meringue and brown in oven.
