Ingredients

  • 14 cup butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 5 ounces marshmallow creme
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces chopped black walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

  • Bring sugar, butter, evaporated milk to a bubbling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • Cook for 10 minutes while stirring, reducing heat to keep from burning.
  • Scrape down sides of pot frequently.
  • Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, nuts and vanilla.
  • Stir only until marshmallow and chips are all melted and chocolate is consistant color.
  • Pour into 8x8 buttered, foiled pan and cool before cutting.
