Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage, chopped and cooked 10 minutes
  • 1 medium pan cornbread
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
  • 3 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 stick butter

Method

  • Mix 1 stick butter in crumbled cornbread.
  • Mix cabbage and cornbread (reserve enough cornbread to put on top of casserole) and place in a large casserole dish.
  • Mix cheese sauce ingredients (all other ingredients) on top of stove until thickened.
  • Pour over cabbage/cornbread mixture.
  • Sprinkle reserved cornbread on top.
  • Bake at 350° until bubbly and browned on top.
