Ingredients

  • Your favorite recipe for peanut butter cookies
  • 6 (1 ounce.) squares of semi sweet chocolate
  • 1 tbsp. shortening
  • 1 tbsp. light corn syrup

Method

  • Make cookies according to recipe directions.
  • Let cold.
  • Heat chocolate and shortening on top of double boiler.
  • Stir in corn syrup.
  • Mix till smooth.
  • Dip each cookie halfway into the chocolate mix.
  • Place in single layer on a cookie sheet.
  • Freeze till chocolate hardens.
  • Place in airtight container.
  • Store in the freezer till ready to use.
