Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. powdered sugar

Method

  • Mix oil, chocolate and sugar.
  • Blend one egg at a time; mix well.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Stir flour, baking powder and salt into oil mixture.
  • Chill several hours or overnight.
  • Heat oven to 350°. Drop small teaspoonfuls of dough into powdered sugar.
  • Roll in sugar; shape into balls.
  • Place about 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Do not overbake.
  • These flatten to a "crinkle" while baking.
