Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c butter (unsalted)softened
  • 3/4` c sugar
  • 3/4 c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c chopped nuts (optional)

Method

  • Instructions:
  • 375. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in bowl. Beat butter and sugars in bowl until creamy. Add vanilla and eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop rounded tablespoons on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 mins. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
