Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. self-rising flour, sifted
  • 3 Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Melt margarine.
  • Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla flavoring with margarine. Gradually add flour and cocoa. Add 1/2 cup pecans to mixture. Pour mixture into 9 x 11-inch greased pan.
  • Add remaining pecans, sprinkling on top. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • They are done when it rises and falls back down.
