Ingredients

  • 1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. chocolate wafers
  • 6 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • chocolate shavings

Method

  • Crush wafers; mix with melted butter using fork.
  • Press into a 9 x 13-inch spring-form pan, leaving a 1-inch space at top.
  • Melt chocolate chips in double boiler.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add melted chocolate chips.
  • Add eggs 1 at a time.
  • Add sour cream; mix until smooth.
  • Pour into pan.
  • Bake at 375° for 1 hour.
  • Cool on rack.
  • After cooling, garnish with chocolate shavings.
