Ingredients
- 10 medium carrots
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. white mustard seed
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 3 whole cloves
Method
- Wash and pare carrots.
- Cut in 1/4-inch thick sticks.
- Cook in boiling salted water until tender.
- Combine remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling point.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Pack carrots in hot sterilized jars.
- Pour vinegar mixture over carrots and seal.
