Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. unsifted flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1/2 c. cold margarine or butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz. pkg.)
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Combine flour, sugar and cocoa; cut in margarine until crumbly.
  • Add egg; mix until well blended. Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture.
  • Press remainder evenly on bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  • Bake 10 minutes.
