Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • powdered sugar

Method

  • Mix oil, sugar, vanilla and eggs.
  • Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  • Stir in pie filling, chips and nuts.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour in a fluted tube pan.
  • Cool 15 minutes.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Cool.
  • Sift powdered sugar on top.
