Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (larger can)
- 2 lb. powdered sugar
- 28 oz. flaked coconut
- 1 lb. finely chopped walnuts
- 3 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 block paraffin
- add a little almond extract (optional)
Method
- Mix first 5 ingredients.
- Roll into small balls (about 150). Place on a cookie sheet and chill.
- Melt chocolate chips and paraffin over double boiler.
- Dip balls into chocolate, using toothpicks.
- Place on wax paper to harden.
- Refrigerate or freeze.
