- 4 quarts tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 12 cups green peppers, chopped
- 2 cups onions, chopped
- 1 12 cups white vinegar
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
Method
- Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Simmer until as thick as wanted (1 to 2 hours).
- Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
- Pour boiling hot into hot jars leaving 1/8" head space.
- process in boiling water for 15 minutes.
