Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter flavor Crisco
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Macadamia nuts
  • 6 oz. white chocolate, cut in small pieces

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Cream Crisco and milk on medium speed until well blended.
  • Add brown sugar and sugar gradually.
  • Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • In another bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  • Mix together the two mixtures with wooden spoon.
  • Stir in white chocolate and nuts.
  • Drop 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 8 minutes.
  • Yields about 5 dozen 2-inch cookies.
