Ingredients
- 2 cans green chili (whole)
- 1 heaping Tbsp. flour
- 1 lb. Longhorn cheese
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Stuff chilies with cheese.
- Beat the yolks until they are lemon color.
- Then beat the whites until stiff, adding one heaping tablespoonful of flour with salt.
- Fold with yolks.
- Dip stuffed chilies in batter and fry in deep fat until golden brown.
- Serve with finely cut lettuce, chopped tomato and taco sauce.
