Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils (appx)
  • 1 can chick peas
  • 2-1/2 carrots
  • 1 celery
  • 4-5 small yellow heirloom potatoes
  • 2 canned tomatos, smashed
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 leek
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 small container ck broth
  • water
  • apprx 1/8 tsp to 1/4 tsp: (mostly 1/8)
  • turmeric
  • ginger
  • cumin
  • cinnamon
  • coriander
  • pinch cayenne pepper

Method

  • cook onions, add leeks then garlic. Add herbs. Add lentils, cook few seconds, add chickpeas, tomatoes and ck broth. Cook awhile-1/2 hour or less, add other veggies, cook awhile more. Delicious
