Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. raw chicken tenders (approximately 1 lb.)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • soft tortilla shells
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 whole green pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 whole red or yellow pepper, seeded and chopped
  • Lawry's powdered taco seasoning
  • lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa and cheese for garnishes

Method

  • Saute chicken tenders in oil in frying pan or wok until cooked through.
  • Add peppers and onions.
  • Saute until vegetables are tender.
  • Add taco seasoning and water.
  • Cover and simmer until sauce has boiled down to a thick paste.
  • Serve in tortillas with garnishes.
