Ingredients

  • 1 (16 or 20 oz.) pkg. frozen peas or broccoli
  • 1 whole chicken, cooked and boned
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 slices yellow American cheese, torn into pieces
  • 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs, torn up

Method

  • Cook vegetables until tender.
  • Alternate vegetables and chicken in greased baking dish.
  • Blend milk and soup.
  • Pour over vegetables and chicken.
  • Melt butter and mix with bread crumbs. Sprinkle pieces of cheese over vegetables and chicken soup mixture.
  • Sprinkle bread crumbs over top.
  • Bake at 450° until lightly browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
