Ingredients
- 1 (16 or 20 oz.) pkg. frozen peas or broccoli
- 1 whole chicken, cooked and boned
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 slices yellow American cheese, torn into pieces
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs, torn up
Method
- Cook vegetables until tender.
- Alternate vegetables and chicken in greased baking dish.
- Blend milk and soup.
- Pour over vegetables and chicken.
- Melt butter and mix with bread crumbs. Sprinkle pieces of cheese over vegetables and chicken soup mixture.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs over top.
- Bake at 450° until lightly browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
