Ingredients
- 2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
Method
- Cook chicken thoroughly and debone, if necessary.
- Melt margarine in skillet. Add celery and onion and cook until tender. Stir in next 5 ingredients; blend well. Add cubed chicken, almonds and mushrooms.
- Spoon into 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Serves 4 to 6.
