Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut up or selected pieces you prefer, skin-on
- 1 t crushed garlic
- 3 T olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 t oregano
- 1 t basil
- 1/ 2 c. flour
- salt and pepper
- 1-26 oz jar Marinara Sauce with Burgundy Wine or other preferred spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c red wine (optional)
Method
- Coat chicken pieces in mixture of flour and seasonings. Brown chicken in hot oil until golden.
- Remove chicken from pan and drain off most of the oil.
- Brown onion and garlic slightly in pan.
- Drain off all oil.
